 Thanks to the various hijink and wackiness my friends subscribe to and "like" on facebook, I have recently learned that SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 17th is "PRETEND TO BE A DINOSAUR DAY".  And why the hell shouldn't it be, huh? 

According to the event page: You can dress up, or just act like a dinosaur. Pick your favourite dino and have fun terrorizing the neighbourhood kids. Lots of growling, stomping, etc. The more friends you get to join, the bigger dino pack you can have! Maybe turn it into a huge party with dinosaur-shaped cakes and sit around in dinosaur footy-pajamas. Have fun with it!

Where was I?  Why am I here? Oh.... right! SCARING THE STRAIGHTS!  Welcome to what I guess is the cherry poppin' entry on this here blog.   Heh. "BLOG"... that's such a weird word.  Blog, blog, blog, blog.... blahhh---aaagh...
